While these words are often used by feel-good psycho-babble-ists, the laws of scarcity and abundance are actually economic terms .
The law of abundance states that, because new technologies are being developed all the time, then new resources are being made all the time, so there is no need to hoard what you’ve got or worry about beating the other guy to it, whatever it may be for you.
The law of scarcity, simply put, states that since human wants are more numerous than the resources that can supply those wants, you better get yours while the getting’s good and before the other guy beats you to it.
So to which law do you ascribe? Let me help you out on that one.
If you are constantly filled with worry and afraid that you’re going to miss out on the next great thing, or the next big market movement up, you are a Law of Scarcity follower . If you are constantly afraid that you are going to lose everything you have, or that you’ll never get back what you think you’ve lost, then you are a Law of Scarcity follower .
For Scarcity followers, there’s never enough time to get things done, never enough money at the end of the month, never enough energy to make that run, or never enough help to finish the task.
If you’ll really pay attention, you’ll see that the world’s way is to train you to think in Scarcity terms . Just listen to the media cry and moan as if the world is always coming to an end. Listen to the “experts” in the news give you the latest reason everything is going to hell in a hand basket, and you've gotta act now to keep what you’ve got. AHHHHHH!!
Why do that they do that? Because getting you to think like that scares the tar out of you! Then your fear gives way to panicked thinking, and that makes you and everyone else under their spell create lots of transactions. The more transactions you make, the more money you spend, and the more money you spend, the more money they make.
But the Law of Scarcity is not our way. Living scared and worried is not my thing, and I refuse to do it…. ( to be continued next week)
